Hi my name is Rachel and I am a New Yorker living in France for the last two and a half years. I lived in Montreal for five years before moving to Lyon in order to study at the National Circus School there. After two years touring with Cirque du Soleil, I moved to France to create a show with some friends and I've been here ever since. I travel a lot for work and its my favorite way to travel. I love immersing myself in daily life in a place much more than being there purely as a tourist.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach yoga/stretching/pilates, knitting, handstands, and french. I'd love to learn more about gardening and construction as I'm at the beginning of a new project to buy a building and space and build it up for a group of people to live in. I love to cook with people and drink tea (or other things) while talking about just about anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you want to practice your French I can help for sure. I speak more French these days than English even though its my native tongue. I also would always be willing to cook for a place to stay! Also if you're interesting in going to see cabaret or circus shows, I usually try to check out what's happening in the places I go.
