Overview
About Me
I work in a pediatric emergency department during the week and am an adventure-seeker on the weekends. Climbing, hiking, biking, swimming and generally staying active help me to balance the intensity of my work and volunteering. I am kind, intelligent, and compassionate and a quiet house guest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm taking my first trip out of the US in September with stops in Dublin, London, and Paris. I am most excited about getting to know people and the culture overseas. It seems Couchsurfing is a great way to do that!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am just read "Unbroken" and "The Power of One". Both very intense, but powerful books.
Little Miss Sunshine, Good Will Hunting, Juno, Princess Bride... I loved Harry Potter growing up. The Kite Runner, Letters to a Young Therapist, Don't Order Dog, A Thousand Splendid Suns. Social work theory texts as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed multi-pitch and rappelled off the top of a 150+ ft volcanic rock formation in Mt. Hood National Forest!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share Pacific NW culture, an eagerness to be active, kindness, and respect. :)
