I am from Scotland, however since graduating university almost six years ago I have been travelling. I spent 8 months living in Australia and travelled Asia afterwards for a couple of months. I then lived in London for 3 years as cabin crew which allowed me to travel worldwide to places such as Rio de Janerio, Tokyo, parts of Africa and America, and also much of Europe. At the end of 2014 I moved to Barcelona where I lived for 9 months working as an English Teacher (TEFL). I then travelled Spain and Portugal for the summer before moving to Mexico where I volunteered as an English teacher in Isla Mujeres. I then travelled to Belize and spent 6 weeks in Guatemala. I am really hoping to improve my Spanish as this is something I would love to become fluent in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend, Mau who is from Mexico, and I are planning to travel Europe for the summer and being able to couchsurf will be a fun experience to meet people along the way and for some advise on the local areas.
