I am a transient seasonal backcountry Park Ranger in Alaska, and I am hoping to learn to ski (both backcountry and front country) and to continue improving my rock climbing and ice climbing skills this winter! I love to travel, and I have been traveling on and off for the past 2 years since completing my Bachelor's degree, mostly in the Patagonia area for the past 2 winters. I love glaciers and ice, and I am hoping to pursue a Master's degree in Glaciology in the next few years. But for now I'm enjoying backcountry ranger life, exploring Alaska's beauty, and trying as many new hobbies and things (in general) as possible!

Since I'll be residing in Park City roughly until April, I'm hoping to make lots of new friends to go on epic outdoor adventures with and share laughs and beers at the end of the day! I am currently looking for a home of my own to rent for about 2 months or so in town, but I need some help getting my feet off the ground for the first bit of my stay. I recently got a full time job for Park City Mountain Resort as a ski liftee, so I would be gone for most of the day for 4 days a week. This is in no way a fix to find housing for the rest of the season--- the most I would try to stay at any couch surfing spot is 1 week maximum! This site for me is a way to get to know the town and continue to learn and grow and hopefully teach you some things as well.. and once I have a place I will gladly be accepting couch surfers :)
