Hi there - My name is Rachel. I'm 24 years young and have recently found my passion in life - seeing the world! I live in Metro Detroit with my boyfriend Scott and two dogs, Lucy and Daisy. I work full-time at a marketing/communications agency where I service consumer tech and automotive clients. My job is creative, fun and I have the opportunity to work with smart people and even travel the states occasionally. Though I'm committed to my career - I still have the desire to see as much of the world as I can, especially while I'm young.

I'm clean, respectful and looking for a place I can mainly sleep at. Though I'm eager to meet new people, I plan to be out and about site-seeing as much as possible. I would enjoy a host that is warm, welcoming, clean, respectful and flexible. I do not plan to stay with a host for more than 3-4 days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to step out of my comfort zone, meet new people and be a little spontaneous! Normally I would be booking a hotel or hostel, but I'd like to try couch surfing and meeting locals to learn about their culture.
