Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing in order to learn more about an area through the eyes of the people who live there. I want to travel without exploiting anyone's cultures

I love to explore. I like to hike, bike, take walks. I like solitary activities like reading, knitting, and writing. I like social activities like cooking, playing basketball and going out for drinks (or staying in!).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most kinds of music. Right now I really like Frank Ocean and D'Angelo.
I love to read both fiction and non-fiction. I'm reading a book of short stories that takes place in the American West as well as a guide on calligraphy and a book on meditation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked my first camino through Spain this winter- only 300km but so beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to knit, make a mean stir fry, change a bike tube, make a cake, shoot a free throw (and make it), play dice games.
