I am 28 years old, and have quit my job to explore the world and meet new people! (AKA not able to host in BFLO at the moment) My hope is that by the end of this trip, I will know more about myself, the world, and those around me.
I am not the most outgoing person, but it is a skill that I constantly work on to make better. I find that my favorite parts of a city are not its tourist attractions, but the little things and people that I meet/discover every day(details of an old building, the way someone thinks, the composition of a dinner plate...)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in meeting new people, especially in places I don't know. And it's much better than being by myself in a hotel room. :) I'm happy to share my culture, as well as learn about someone else's; could be over dinner, tea, or just walking around! I think that Couchsurfing is a great way to connect the travel community and potentially make some lifelong friends abroad. :)

Interests

One of my favorite things to do is go barefoot; I love feeling different textures under my feet. I also LOVE color. Any color, all color! I have a weird hobby of critiquing house paint as I walk by.
Acting is also a hobby of mine, but I love to go and see theatre as well--especially a good comedy. :)
I started out in music playing the cello; my dad listens to music a lot too, and I picked up his taste--mostly American oldies (50s-80s).
I also like to ski and play in the snow.
