I’m currently a mechanical engineering Masters student studying in Canada. In my free time I like to run (I’ve done several half marathons), make desserts, spend time with people and cats.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it adds so much more to the experience of travelling, I’ve had so many cool and memorable experiences with hosts and other surfers.

Interests

I really like animals! I also like freediving and scuba diving as these activities allow me to see marine animals in their natural environment and to see the beautiful underwater world and coral reefs which feels like being in another world. I think if I wasn’t an engineer I would have become a marine biologist 😄
I also enjoy walking/hiking, camping, seeing waterfalls, seeing the sunset and being in nature in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm haven’t really done anything very amazing… but have been to places and seen many amazing things. I can tell you about my favourite waterfall, my favourite mountains, my favourite place to dive etc etc

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning about others’ culture and experiences, and getting inspired by other people. I think life is way too short to experience everything and live out all the pathways we dream of, so I enjoy the insight that can be taken from exchanging stories with people.
I can share my travelling experiences, share food and cooking.
I can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, so I’m happy to teach if you’re interested.
