About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be young, have fun, and see the world!
ABOUT ME
I grew up in tiny Springtown Texas. I had a happy upbringing, but ended up moving out at the tender age of 16.
I have always been independent by nature, hard working, and extremely spontaneous.
I went to a Community College for 2 years, while working several jobs to pay the bills as I studied. I had no direction for my future and an undetermined major as I moved from one place to the next all over the outer suburbs of Dallas.
I worked to live, and lived to work.
Travelling was out of the question back then, something of a dream. Eventually I ended up in Downtown Dallas where I found myself stressed about money, not knowing how I was going to further my studies without getting into a world of debt, let alone pay the bills that were piling up. On top of everything, I was held up at gunpoint while in a secluded parking lot. In that moment I realized how quickly things can change and that it was time for me to get more out of life.
I decided to move across the world to live in Australia!
I sold all my belongings, (with the exception of what I could fit in my suitcase) and embarked on an adventure that has yet to end. One thing that I can say I have learned from my experiences in life so far is that if something seems too good to be true, maybe it isn't.
I've been living in Manly Beach for nearly 5 years now and have fallen in love with this beautiful city and country and couldn't be happier.
I've had the opportunity to travel all around Australia, Europe, Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia.
Facing the world not knowing what will happen and without fear is the only way because you only get on shot.
I am counting my blessings everyday and am excited to see what is to come!
Life is what you make it!!
PHILOSOPHY
Be a good person, love one another, pay it forward. Good things will come your way. Life is what you make it. Positivity can make all the difference.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love funny movies, especially ones with Chris Farley, or Adam Sandler. Im a sucker for cheezy love stories as well. I read Lonely Planet!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I cant think of just one. I was once charged by an angry male elephant during a safari in Sri Lanka. That was pretty amazing, but not as amazing as the time I went sky diving in New South Wales Australia !!! I went swimming with Grey Nurse sharks in Australia. Climbed to the top of Mount Wellington in Hobart Tasmania and survived a hail storm once at the summit. I've held a Koala and pet a wild Kangaroo Joey that was poking its head out of its mothers pouch :) I've seen people living in the dump in Mexico City, Mexico, and a man with half a beard dressed as a woman in Los Angeles Ca.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can identify with people who are interested in foreign cultures and passionate about travelling the world and seeing new places.
