About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live life to the fullest!

ABOUT ME

Hi! I grew up in Chicago, went to school in Texas, got my master's in the Netherlands, and am now working on my doctorate here in Atlanta! I love life, there's a lot to be thankful for!

PHILOSOPHY

God is good, life is beautiful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and travelling :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I lived in the Netherlands, it was one of my favorite things to host couchsurfers. I met people from all over, who carried their own stories and culture with them. I always had a blast with them. When I travelled, couchsurfing allowed me to see so much more of a new city, and allowed me to make some new friends!

Interests

I love studying neuroscience, playing ukulele, giggling, and enjoying good cheese or chocolate! I'm always up for an adventure, or for a Twilight Zone marathon.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh goodness. I love reading. Recent favorite include: "The Once and Future King" by T.H. White, "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis, and "Flowers for Algernon" by Daniel Keyes. Love. Love love.

I've been on an overdramatic 80's music kick recently, listening to "Total Eclipse of the Heart" on continual repeat.

I like movies that either make you think a lot or that require no thinking at all. That being said, my recent favorites are "Life is Beautiful", "The Emperor's New Groove", and "Die Hard".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love travelling, and I've been lucky to be able to do so much. Each new place leaves me thinking that I've seen the most beautiful place in the world! The moors of Ireland, the mountains of Switzerland, or the beaches of Italy all left me feeling so blessed to live in such a gorgeous world!

Teach, Learn, Share

I will teach you ukulele for as much as you can stand! :)
