ABOUT ME

I am currently serving in the Peace Corps as a English teacher in Kosovo. I am excited to meet people from all different backgrounds and learn as much about the world as I can. I think the best part of seeing a new place is meeting people from there, and sharing our stories and experiences with each other.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I have not hosted - only surfed. I have had wonderful experiences so far, and hope I can eventually host someday!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Yerevan, Busan, Taipei, Hualien, Munich, and Calgary so far. Every time has been really fun and unique. I particularly appreciate the times when I surfed as a solo traveler, since it is such a great way to meet new people.

兴趣

I enjoy hiking. I like to find trails or interesting parks whenever possible, even when traveling in cities.

I love to eat new foods, especially local favorites/ delicacies. I have a tradition that I try and find a unique flavor of Fanta in every country I visit. I have been successful so far, having tried more than twenty. I don't particuarly love Fanta, but I like that it is a way for me to see how every country has something in common, yet is also unique in their own way.

My main interest is travel itself! I am happy to share stories from the places I have been, and am even more eager to hear from others. I am always thinking about new places I want to go and new things I want to try.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I feel like I have had a number of moments that were amazing to me - driving through the mountains of Georgia, feeding kangaroos out of my hands, swimming among the fish in the Caribbean... I could go on and on! But I don't know if I could pick any favorites!
