My main focuses right now involve my work as a life skills teacher in southern Africa-and maybe reading as many books as possible while I do it.

Spontaneous trips and meaningful conversations, all I'm really trying to do with my life is have as positive an effect on as many people as I can. I wake up every morning delighted to be alive.

As cliche as it is, I just want to live. I try to be as kind as I can and to always remember what a privilege it is to be present in the world

I'm really loving where I live right now, and I think everyone would benefit from being shown around by someone living here if they happen to be visiting Lesotho!

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh, I could talk about books forever! For the past few years, I've been reading almost exclusively postmodern and classic lit. I've spent hours at a time talking to (at?) friends about my favorite novels (Infinite Jest, V, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man), and it's never enough!

I listen to the Grateful Dead a lot, but I'm open to a lot of stuff

I'm a pretty big David Lynch fan (as a person as well as a director), but I can't pretend I know enough about film to have many strong opinions.
