About Me

Jeezy Peet. Sorry about the terrible response rate. I forgot to change the couch status before going fishing for the summer. During that time I am 100% unreachable for at least 3 months despite the monumental number of surfing requests. Sincerest apologies.

CURRENT MISSION

Making money while also travelling while also having a wonderful time. =)

ABOUT ME

I commercial fish in the summers in Alaska. Sometimes I also fish in California or North Carolina. I have driven many, many miles back and forth across the U.S., coast to coast. I have been to every state, most twice. I try to spend at least one month per year out of the U.S.

I love good coffee, good beer, ping pong, shuffleboard, fishing of any kind, most outdoor recreation, story telling, live music and swing dancing.

I'm planning an upcoming cross country roadtrip in a 1980 Toyota Dolphin camper and will be sending out couch surfing requests for a place to park soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

I know it's so lame to say, but I like all types of music. I suppose my favorites would be bluegrass, punk, and anything with a funky beat. I haven't seen many movies, but I watch a lot of online shows. I LOVE Jurassic Park. I read a lot. A lot, a lot. Recently I have been reading novels. A few favorites would be The Hobbit, GOT, Lamb by Chirstopher Moore, Mother of God by Paul Rosolie, The Serpent and the Rainbow, The Bright Edge of the World.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once took a 7 month road trip of the western U.S., starting in Alaska, in a station wagon towing a tear drop camper that my boyfriend and I built.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: How to fillet and cook a fish, how to drive a manual car, how to play beerio kart, how to play eucher, how to fit many things in a small backpack.

Learn: How to speak Spanish, how to make pasta, how to surf, what on earth is going on in a rugby game.

Share: I believe that any people, no matter how different, can enjoy any experience as long as one of those people is passionate and excited about it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good food and stories and a fantastic game called spot-it!

Bahamas, Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama
