I'm a 26-year-old female that enjoys traveling and the knowledge that comes along with it! Exploring new places is my favorite thing to do, either with or without my camera. I like to try new things including local foods :) I studied consciousness in University and plan to have a research career to continue studying lucid dreaming.

My current mission is to travel and learn from life experiences. When not couch surfing, I have traveled by staying or working in hostels and volunteering with WWOOF or Help Exchange. Couch surfing is an excellent way to meet new people in new places! Hosts are also awesome for recommending the local places that I might not have discovered otherwise.

I like to spend time outside exploring new places, taking pictures, and eating yummy foods. I'm teaching myself to play guitar because I like to sing, I knit lots of beanies, and enjoy just hanging out relaxing and talking or watching a movie or reading good book. I'm also a serious animal lover. Psychology, geology, philosophy... I like to think about why things are the way they are :) During my travels I prefer to volunteer in strange places rather than spend a lot of money to stay somewhere fancy. I've found that I learn more about the actual culture this way and meet really interesting people!

When I was attending University, I raised enough money by knitting hats and scarves to take my first solo trip. I went to San Francisco and had a wonderful time all funded by my knitting! Ever since then I have been obsessed with traveling and doing so in an alternative way than most people would think to do.

I love to cook and am happy to do so for others! In addition to wanting to have fun when I travel (let's go see something beautiful!!), I am always quiet, clean, and respectful. I am also up to being shown around by my host- locals always know the best places to go :) I've had pets and volunteered at animal shelters so I love having furry animals running around.
