Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I made this account years ago, after being recommended Couchsurfing by a friend, but I never actually used it. After doing more solo backpacking in Europe, time and again I've heard great things about the community here. Finally, after going to a couple Couchsuring meetups and hearing countless positive stories, I'm back and I hope to contribute more to the Couchsurfing community!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, and I read a ton - almost exclusively fiction. Favorite books include Mr. Fox, Master and Margarita, The Book Thief, and Blindness.

I've never really understood what music falls into what categories, but you could probably say I mostly listen to indie/rock, oldies (mostly 60's), and reggaton (not-so-guilty pleasure 😇).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled (literally) around the world! Starting in Detroit, went across Europe to Taiwan and Australia, and headed back to the US through Hawaii, then Seattle, and finally back in Detroit.
