I am from Melbourne, Australia (although of a mixed Asian heritage.) I am a great conversationalist, with a vibrant personality who loves travelling, meeting new people, eating exotic foods (spice is good) and embracing different cultures.

Travelling for me is an education and experience like no other. I studied a semester abroad in Vienna in 2014 and got the opportunity to see more of Europe- travelling on weekends and whenever I could. In 2015, I explored east coast North America and Central America. In 2016/2017, I travelled from the southernmost part of South America to Colombia.

I love being spontaneous, appreciating art and architecture, meeting new people, exchanging conversation and dancing the night away.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I don't want to be a tourist merely jumping from sight to sight. To me, travelling is so much more than taking photos in front of icons, it is about getting a feel and understanding for the local life and culture. I began couchsurfing 2 years ago, and could not have imagined some of the experiences that I have shared with new friends and the insights I have gained into people's lives who so graciously welcomed me into their circles. I hope to further extend my global network of friends!

Música, películas y libros

MUSIC: Mood-dependent - enjoy anything from jazz to opera to Chopin. Hip hop is up there though.

MOVIES: Arthouse, foreign language and gangster films. 'In the Mood for Love' has to be one of my all-time favourites. Going through a 60s French New Wave phase- loving Godard and Truffaut. Love Wes Anderson.

BOOKS: Anything by Alain de Botton, John Berger. Japanese fiction... Mishima; Murikami.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I enjoy simple pleasures: seeing a volcano (Mt Etna) erupt and hearing her rumble; picking wild porcini mushrooms in the Tuscan woods; riding through narrow Italian alleyways on the back of vespas; seeing a splendid sunset in the Sahara desert; hot air ballooning in Cappadocia and hiking through breaktaking natural landscapes from Patagonia to the Dolomites.
