ABOUT ME

I haved lived in Southern California my whole life. Just recently moved to LA. As much as I love the sunny weather and beautiful beaches, I'm ready to bust out of this place and live in a new land. Hmmm......it would be hard to move away from the fam. I have 7 brothers and sisters and my beautiful parents who have been married for over 60 years. Experiencing life to the fullest is always top priority. I love going on new adventures and I absolutely love trying new things! Right now I am currently working in the world of Advertising doing art production. On my spare time I enjoy taking pictures, painting, making music, watching intriguing films, going on weekend adventures, hanging out with family and friends, driving down PCH, watching the stars, break dancing, and being in the outdoors. All I want to do is keep spreading the love and learn new things every day. I'm thankful to have a healthy life and I'm thankful for my family and friends. I want to keep making new connections and learn from others around the world :)

Interests

I'm fascinated by everything around me. I love learning new things about history, people, economics, psychology, health, traveling, geography, politics, and spirituality. I'm most passionate about music and art.

Music, Movies, and Books

My all time favorite directors are: Bergman, Scorsese, Kurosawa, De Sica, Kubrick, Truffaut, Anderson, Godard, Malick, Fellini, Lynch, Nichols Makavejev, and Coppola. One of my favorite movies is Wild Strawberries by Igmar Bergman.

First off, I love any genre of music. I love seeing live bands- especially jazz! Currently I've been listening to Radiohead, the Police, Ms John Soda, Lykke Li, Muse, Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake, Del la Sole, Cocteau Twins, Pixies, Fugazi, Refused, Gang of Four, Les Savy Fav, Bjork, MGMT, Thinking Aloud, Modest Mouse, Palace, Karate, Ratatat, Bell X1 Flock,Sigur Ros, Spoon, the Streets, A Tribe Called Quest, Velvet Underground, Band of Horses, BLOK, Sparklehorse, Tom Waits, Q and not you, the Deep Sea Diver, Daft Punk, Cursive, Slint, Sunny Day Real Estate, Santogold, and my favorite radio stations KCRW(NPR) & KEXP.

I read Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami- loved it! Big fan of Bukowski, Chomsky, Zinn, Salinger, Hemingway, Rand, Tolstoy, and Palahniuk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've back packed in King's Canyon, floated in the Dead Sea, enjoyed espresso in Hungary, checked out the Hermitage in Moscow, drove on the left side of the road to Stone Henge, danced under the sparkling Eiffel Tower, swam in the English Channel, danced all night in Amsterdam and got lost in the Venetian canals .

I love to share recommendations for great movies, books, bands, and artists. I can teach you how to play the basic chords on the guitar and I can show you how to make the most amazing pasta dish from scratch :)
