About Me

In 2013 - 2014, I lived in Toronto for work and traveled a lot in Canada. I was so in love with this country and I'm thinking about being there again in 2017 :) Now I live in Taiwan. I spend my holidays exploring great spots with family or friends. I also enjoy wandering around the city alone and lingering away the whole afternoon at the cafe. If we have a chance to meet up, I can definitely show you some of the places I like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's wonderful to make friends with people from different background by sharing life stories at their place or mine. For me Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to see the cities through the eyes of the locals. And in return, I'd like to host travelers whenever I have enough space and show them around my hometown.

Interests

I like traveling to a new place and make it feel like home. I love hiking! Not like professional.. but long distance walks or being in the mountains always calms me down. In rainy days I'd prefer to stay at home writing stuff, playing the piano or staring at a map planing my next trip. Also I enjoyed watching movies or having a good conversation with friends at a nice cafe.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music as long as it fits my mood. Olafur Arnalds/ Sigur Ros/ Rachael Yamagata/ Sleeping at last/ Gregory Alan Isakov/ ...Their music are beautiful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked to the summit of Sulphur Mt. and enjoyed the view of Canadian Rockies
Been to Newfoundland to chase icebergs
Traveled around beautiful Taiwan on a scooter
Volunteered at Inner Mongolia Super Race, walked across the desert and slept under the stars

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Chinese for sure. I'm more than happy to learn some of your language or anything about your culture. I am a bread lover but don't know how to bake.. This year I want to learn how to bake. Also I got one ukulele from my Mom and it would be great if you can teach me how to play.
