Overview
About Me
I'm young, poor and hungry for sunshine and new experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing because I believe the places we visit can only become meaningful if there is an opportunity to engage with the people who actually live there.
Separate from the ways in which more traditional modes of tourism often anesthetize, commercialize and limit the opportunities for meaningful exchange, such options are usually unaffordable for most otherwise interested travelers. In this way, I strongly believe couchsurfing's commitment to the traveling spirit (as opposed to the traveling wallet) is crucial for the spread of intercultural knowledge, understanding and good ol fashion EXPLORING.
