About Me

CURRENT MISSION

set foot on all continents and see as many countries as possible before I am incapable to do so

ABOUT ME

I am the type of person who hates to stay in one place for too long. My passions are to teach art and travel. I am a free spirit with an open mind and a love for adventure. I love making friends in new places and meeting new people who like to stray off the beaten path. I am friendly, outgoing and have a serious case of wanderlust.

PHILOSOPHY

Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.
Marilyn Monroe
Life is about being your 100% and giving 100%. When you are being your best self the best will naturally come to you and things will fall into place. I believe that in order to understand the world and other cultures you need to experience them. You can't learn just from theory you need to practice. Reading and learning about something will enhance your knowledge but never measure up to real life experience. It's like the difference between just reading about swimming as supposed to being thrown in a pool. I live for the exhilarating moments of stepping off a plane and being thrown into the craziness which is the country's "pool" so to speak... I am a travelholic and adrenaline junkie. I love to meet people through their country their foods and their beliefs. The world has become my pandoras box, I got a taste of travel and now can't stop. I always want to learn and experience new things.

I try to step out of my comfort zone as much as possible and make the extra effort to talk to people and get to know them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A moment I found myself awestuck was when I walked through the Gobi desert. The sand was the softest sand I've ever stepped on/felt and i felt completely isolated from everything else. It was beautiful and very peaceful.
I've jumped off a plane over waikiki beach and had the best most exhilarating time of my life. When I hit the ground, I was ready to do it again!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a passion for art, so I can share any skills I have that they would like to learn. I also love to cook, so I would love to do an exchange where I could cook one of my favorite dishes in exchange for one of my hosts. I can teach you French or English as well as random facts and weird laws. I collect strange/random fun facts and cultural jokes. I also know how to say "cheers" in every language from countries I've visited ;)
