About Me

I-m a 27 year old almost-finished-hopefully Master student, fixated with nature and mountains and any kind of outdoor activity. Specifically I have a current obsession with climbing, and most of my holidays, free-time and even boyfriend choice revolve around this activity. I have been living for the past 7 years in the Netherlands, where I undertook all of my after high school studies. Despite me living here for almost a decade my Dutch is equal to none. I like to blame the difficulty of the language rather than my laziness. And maybe you may also ask yourself (or probably not, but this is a classic cliche introductory phrase), how does an Italian from the Alps, with the biggest passion for hiking and mountains in general, move to the flattest and rainiest country on earth? Well, despite not having much change in altitude, netherlands has offered me a lot more than I could have asked. I now have a loving gorgeous blond dutchie (Bojan) as my boyfriend and a great remote job that allows me to work from anywhere I want. Hereby, here I am on couchsurfing, trying to make the most use out of this period of my life and this incredible opportunity I have on my hands. So thank you, whoever you will be, for hosting me and deciding to share a bit of your life with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been travelling for most of my life. I have met many interesting and different people from different parts of the world. I have always came to relise that in the end, the only thing that separates us may be the culture we live in, but I was able to find anywhere, even in the most remote parts of the world, people with the same values and belief as me. I have always found this part of travelling the most endearing and rewarding of all. Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to do exactly the same. And of course, let-s be honest, also save some money at the same time, which despite me working remotely full time, I still have lots of expenses to cover and a Master course to pay. Hereby, I am here, looking for nice opportunities and experiences, and looking to meet great people and especially spoil them with my great cooking abilities because yes I am italian, yes Stereotypes are true, yes I make a great lasagna and yes this is clearly a bribe in case it did not come across right away. So host me, I will cook you great italian food.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a favorite genere, I listen to everything. Same is with movies and books... why choose something when you have so many option and you can enjoy all of them, right ???

However, if we need to be specific. I LOVE dancing to anything. I do not dance well, but No i do not care. I LOVE to do sports and being Outdoors. I am an avid climber and hikers, and lately I started picking up trail running and long distance running. I LOVE walking around new cities and explore them as much as possible. For reference I was in Barcelona 3 days and walked 62 km alone (yes I had some blisters after that).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling by myself in Asia for 4 months, through work and travel, and gaining so much confidence and happiness from it that I will never be able to quantify it.

Party and rave alone all night.

Meet my boyfriend and fall in love with him.

Did a 10 day trek in the Himalayas of Nepal. Smoked a lot of weed there with locals as well at 4800 m altitude with the himalayan range in front of me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Italian food. I have explained it before. This is a bribe indeed and all stereotypes are true. I cook amazing. I am also modestly very funny, at least my mom and my boyfriend says so so it must be true.

Promise that despite me sounding loud through y description this is all marketing, I am very quiet, clean and tidy and I respect people's needs and spaces.

Countries I’ve Visited
