About Me

Originally from Manchester, moved to Oxford for Uni. Now living and working in London.

I love running, especially at night, scuba diving and couchsurfing - have couchsurfed mainly in China, India and South America and hope to be able to host guests of my own soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first tried couchsurfing in China (2013) and it was one of the most fantastic things I have ever experienced. From local families who adopted me and introduced me to their culture to ex-pats who showed me the night life and business environment each host was so different and yet I still had an incredible time. I can't wait to become a host too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

China | Mumbai | Vietnam | Zurich | Brazil | Chile

Couchsurfing in China in summer 2013 with around 6 different hots. Many and varied experiences with hosts from all over the world. My trip would not have been the same without them! I have been completely blown away by couchsurfing and am now a massive convert!
I also use couchsurfing to attend events and make friends from across the world when I am in a new city!

Interests

I enjoy swimming, talking, scuba diving, exploring, reading, daydreaming and new experiences.
Love talking about anything, light or heavy, with anyone as I am a bit of a chatterbox.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attending a traditional Cambodian wedding
Seeing the Rio Olympic Games
Bungee Jumping!

Teach, Learn, Share

I work as a tutor part time in England to fund student life so have done some English teaching when I couchsurfed with locals in China. Happy to share any language knowledge, stories and just generally have some great conversations on a wide range of topics! I tutor Maths as well so am happy to do that too but I am guessing it is not such a popular option!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Malaysia, Morocco, Namibia, Peru, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam
