About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to live every moment....no regrets
ABOUT ME
I'm a senior Psychology major and English minor. I loooove my major! My plan is to take a year off after I graduate and travel. I want to learn and deeply experience other cultures, foods, religion, and histories. I want to discover the common humanity in all of us, and bring back the wisdom of other cultures to apply in my study of Psychology.
I like hanging out with people, discussing traveling, books, politics....I'm up for anything, really.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is now. So live it! Just go out there and be who you want to be....live YOUR life how YOU want it to be lived. Cliche as it sounds---be true to yourself.
There's no shortcut--if you want to be somewhere or someone you have to work hard and make sacrifices. In her book The Fountainhead, Ayn Rand writes that "most people build as they live--as a matter of routine and senseless accident." That is NOT how I want to live. I want to build my life and make it something worthwhile.

Movies and music..depends on my mood. I honestly like almost anything.
Books....the books I usually read are textbooks right now but I like reading books with intense characters. I love Ayn Rand and Amy Tan, and I just read This Much I Know is True--its about a schizophrenic twin but told from the point of view of the "normal" twin. Couldn't put it down!
