About Me

CURRENT MISSION

plan less and go with the flow (:

ABOUT ME

Let's see.. I hate the fact that I have to write about myself to fill up this box. Come on, I'm so much more than a box! I've made pretty drastic decisions in the last couple of years. Left a good-paying job, went backpacking for 6 months, then went to London to further my studies. And I don't regret any of the decisions I've made in my life. In fact, they were the best ones I've ever made!

I believe that nobody should be stuck in a job that you don't enjoy. And I will find something that I love that also pays for the bread!

I don't like people who are over zealous and think life is a zero-sum game. You don't make yourself any better off if you make someone worse off! I like people who are chilled, relaxed, but at the same time have an ambition that they are working towards too. No lazy couch potatoes please! haha..

I LOVE travelling (who doesn't? And I'd like to think of myself as a traveller rather than a tourist. Better to spend more time learning about a new culture than to just city-hop! I love good conversation, good beer (over wine actually) and most importantly, good food!

PHILOSOPHY

Living life as if it's your last day everyday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was one of the early participants when CS first started and have had amazing experiences through CS. I've been away from CS for some time but I'm back now! Happy to give you a tip or two and also show you around town if I'm free!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started my cs experience in the lovely homes of my many hosts in new zealand!

Interests

Hmmm.. I'm interested in many things - travelling of course, eating, drinking, chilling, shopping, making new friends and talking. Love a good ole conversation any day! Oh and my new hobby is cooking!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Couchsurfing with a host on a secluded bay where he stayed. The only way to get there is to travel for 30min by boat from the mainland!

I also did jetboating, skydiving and bungy-jumping ((:
