Sobre Mim

CURRENT MISSION

Just enjoy

ABOUT ME

I'm a former expat that's now repatriated to the US. I lived in Korea for more than 8 years teaching English to elementary aged students. I transitioned into web development. (Yes, I know, a very natural transition. )

I like martial arts, running, dancing, jazz, coffee, wine. I like to travel. When I was in Korea I visited many neighboring countries and now I'm excited to travel around the Americans some more.

PHILOSOPHY

As long as I can sleep, eat, and laugh I can't complain.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would offer a couch, but I don't have one (yet! ) , but if you are in the area we can go hang out, have a drink or two.

I have hosted a few people and had great experiences. I also visited some couch-surfers and hopefully will have more great experiences in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just with friends I had that were willing to help me out. I drove 9 hours from Nova Scotia to Quebec, packed all my stuff up to move back to Michigan, and got a hold of my friend last minute to see if I could crash at his place. I slept four hours and then drove back to Michigan (12 hour drive). Oh I went a little crazy by the end of that trip, but thanks BARRY!!

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

These days I mostly listen to whatever is streaming. I like listening to jazz, acoustic guitar, and sometimes 80s and 90s pop.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I visited a Nubian tribe while in Egypt. They lived in little shacks, had dirt floors- but they loved it. I had a great time just drinking tea and dancing to the drums in a little circle.-- Although we didn't speak each others language, we connected.

O Que Posso Compartilhar com Anfitriões

I can try to cook something.
I can share some stories of travels or my life.
I can teach any skills that I have to offer.
