About Me
CURRENT MISSION
living on the edge of the miraculous
ABOUT ME
I'm at the stage in my life where I'm figuring out who I want to be. My friends are truly amazing people.
I would quit school and drop everything to become a photographer if I could.
I've spent three amazing summers living in Greece - I live better there. One day I will move to Europe on a more permanent basis. I want to go to Africa and really see it. I am equally at home in Kentucky, Indiana, North Carolina, and Athens.
My grandmother taught me to knit when I was 16 and began what will be a lifelong obsession.I will forever be a student, reader, and historian.
Very little could make me happier than homemade pie, good writing, the right music, and laughing with my friends.
I fall hard for a beautiful sunset and boys with acoustic guitars.
My plans for after graduation involve nannying for a five year old and a semester or two of random graduate classes in Athens.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything happens for a reason.
"Develop an interest in life as you see it; the people, things, literature, music - the world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls and interesting people."
"Forget yourself."
-Henry Miller-
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time
- T.S. Eliot, â

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After living in Athens the past three summers, the sight of the Acropolis lit up at night still leaves me breathless. It is simply stunning, surreal to behold.
The first time my best friend's baby fell asleep in my arms was a priceless moment. Seeing her raise him will continue to amaze and inspire me.
Touring Palaoikastritsa by boat in Corfu, and realizing I was seeing that part of the island just as Lawrence Durrell did in the 1930s and as Edward Lear did in the 1850s. Somethings can remain unchanged.
