About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enrich lives through music.

ABOUT ME

I'm easy going, a good listener, and spontaneous. I love my job as a musician and love to meet good people.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life in hopes of making the world a better place to live. I'm a very open minded person and I try to understand as many perspectives on life as possible. I'm very optimistic about the future of our world even when it's hard to. I believe people are born good, and can be good if given the resources to do so. I may have my own ideas about the way we should live, but I try not to inflict them on others I'm very good at understanding other ways of life and why things work better for different people. I love culture, and I love to learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My parents are very active with hosting on couchsurfing, and I lived in the apartment behind their house for 7 years so I spent time with everyone who came through and fell in love with the program. I've never hosted in my apartment but I'm definitely up for it. I've also couch surfed myself around the US and Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My parents have hosted over 200 people and there aren't many who stay with us that we don't consider friends when they leave. I've also traveled and couchsurfed in Colorado, Montana, Holland, England, and Wyoming and had great experiences there. I've even traveled to visit previous couchsurfing guests in Germany, England, and Scotland.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Action adventures, comedies, documentaries, dramas, anything Disney or Pixar.
Music: I can find something to like in many different genres of music except screamo death metal, something about it makes me anxious. I especially love Americana, Blues, Folk, Bluegrass, HipHop, and Rocknroll.
Books: I love Margaret Atwood, Tolkien, David Sedaris, Chuck Palanuik, Sandra Cisneros, Shakespeare, and classic Greco/Roman literature.
I've especially loved Amy Schumer's book, and Willie Nelson's "Roll Me Up & Smoke ME When I Die." I love to read about their careers and life from the early days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's a few at the top of my list!
I worked with kids with special needs in the jungles of Dominica.

I've gone backpacking in Big Bend National Park, and climbed to very top of Emory Peak which is 7,835 feet. It has a fantastic view of the surrounding wilderness and desert.

I've ridden the gondola to the top of Mt. Pilatus and swam in Lake Lucerne in Switzerland; it was incredibly cold.

I kissed the very poisonous Habu snake in the sake in Okinawa, Japan.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to play a bit of guitar and voice.
I work a lot in the theatre, I can coach you on audition pieces, or monologues.
I'm very involved in yoga and could probably lead a class.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always love to swap travel experiences.
I can certainly play a mini house concert for you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
