I am a 24 year old student from England, emigrated to New Zealand when I was 13 and set off back packing solo when I was 18 for five years on and off. I worked in Iceland as an Au Pair before chasing winters from New Zealand to Canada as a ski bum. I then worked on a farm in Australia and have since volunteered in Kenya where I decided I wanted to become a nurse. I love the outdoors and practicing yoga. Basically, wherever there is adventure, I want in!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couch surfing as I believe that true travellers make as many opportunities for themselves to immerse themselves in authentic local culture and learn about the country they are in. People make travel what it is, not money. So, though I don't have much money to spare anyway, I would much prefer to spend my time with local, down to earth people than money on a big fancy hotel.

I love wholesome fun; the outdoors feed my spirit, I ski for my soul, I do yoga for my mind and body, I create for fun, I horse ride to feel free, and I travel to feel alive.
