I am a recent graduate from the University of Montana with a BA in Journalism and a minor in Liberal Studies. I just got done backpacking around Central America! Really looking forward visiting to either Morocco or Spain in the near future.

I am really interested in seeing the countries I am visiting from a local perspective. It is too easy to stay in hostels and miss out on what is really happening in a community. I think couch surfing is one of the easiest way to truly experience a place in a short amount of time.

The only kinds of music I don't like are pop country, screamo metal, and trance. My favorite directors are guy ritchie, wes anderson, quentin tarantino, and hayao miyazaki. I don't ever have a favorite book but if I had to pick one right now it would be blood meridian by cormac mccarthy. I am currently reading jorge luis borges' collected fictions.
