ABOUT ME

I'm enthusiastic and very much interested in seeing new places and meeting new people. I want to learn about the heart and soul of every city that I visit, things like what makes the city what it is, and what makes it tick.
I'm also always grateful for any chance to get to practice some German!

PHILOSOPHY

Live your life in a way that you personally would be proud of. It's all well and good trying to do things to fit in to society, or to do things to make other people happy, but if the pursuit of this turns you into someone you dont recognize and you cannot love, then what is the point?
Also, greet every day with a smile, no matter how difficult things are going, because there is always something positive to be found. And if the going is tough and uphill for now, it just means that you'll eventually reach the summit, and the view from there is going to be awesome. So keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Dance all the time, especially when the feeling hits. Never mind who's watching.

Interests

Learning more about new cities is definitely something I enjoy tremendously. I think that every single city in every country has its own charming story to share, and I want to hear every single one. Learning new histories, and encountering new cultures is definitely something that brings a smile to my face.
I love watching shows. My current favorites are BBC Sherlock, Doctor Who, and Supernatural. I'm also a massive Star Wars fan.
Other than that, I love history and I love nature. I'm also passionate about conservation.
But when it comes down to it, I think I just love meeting people from across the globe, and learning things from them, whilst hopefully sharing a thing or two myself!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Due to a mix up with the bus, my friend and I got stranded in Prague overnight. Instead of finding a hostel, we decided to wander the city at nigh. We got to see typical touristy areas, such as Charles Bridge, completely void of people. It was really quite an amazing and other-worldly experience!
