About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to inspire others to start businesses that provide not only the freedom and financial stability to travel but also to meet more wonderful people every day and hear more amazing stories!

ABOUT ME

I am a California girl, but not the average. I am extremely hard working, I love new experiences and people. I try to be nice to everyone, and "making someone's day" is the best compliment I think I could get. Happiness is the most important thing to me and I truly care about other people. My family is really important to me and I spend a lot of time with them.I am currently living on the Oregon Coast for the summer before I pursue university abroad or in California. I love all animals and have an amazing cat named Skittles. I love learning, reading, writing, and have a general zest for life. My friends are like my second family and I love to make new ones.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is simple, don't worry about your feet getting dirty they have a story to tell and smile at every person, place or thing that brings you any kind of joy. I eat clean, I work hard and I love to help others improve their lives along side me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am willing to host energetic outdoor type people that will go running with me or attend yoga at our local arts center. I am spontaneous and love to be in the water as I live on the ocean.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a few wonderful people at meet ups in Paris and was hooked on couchsurfing after that. People on this site have enriched my life and experiences immensely!

Interests

I am an International Business and Dance Major in college and it is truly my passion to make my own kind of Art. I love to teach dance, and I am open to trying any kind of dance. I usually spend a lot of time exploring new places to dance and go dancing with my friends often. I love writing and am currently working on a book. I love playing cards and spend a lot of time playing cribbage and other games with my family. I love to teach card games too! I love nature and am always up for a dancing, yoga, a bike ride, snowboarding, a hike, play tennis, play any sport really, go running, or anything someone can suggest outdoors. I like fishing, I've gone snake catching before and am always happy to try something new.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read business books, inspirational, motivational and positive reading are also on my list. As far as movies I have been moving more toward documentaries and more real life video to fill my mind with real stories and current information about the world. As far as music I will listen to anything I can dance to! I love to go to shows and my brother James' passion for music, sound and art have inspired a lot of my love for music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I ever went to San Diego I fell in love. I am a self-proclaimed beach bum and love to be in the water. This city seems to offer everything I want in life and I am going to move there some day. It left me awestruck because even driving in for the first time I felt so at home there. That is a special feeling to me and I had never felt so much joy from a place before. The only other time I've felt awestruck was my first few days here in Paris. We went to the Centre Pompidou Museum of Modern Art and they have an exhibit running currently called "Danser sa Vie." This exhibit truly moved me to tears because it presented dance and art together in the way that shows how much of an impact dance has on our cultures and society. I loved every piece of art in that exhibition and hope to visit again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to know many languages beginning with a better understanding of French, Spanish and Italian. After that Mandarin, German and Arabic. I love learning, writing, reading and people who also enjoy those things. I love to teach business, investments, network marketing concepts and building residual income. I love to share my experiences as a dancer and surprise people with some sweet moves occasionally!
