ABOUT ME

My name is Maxine and I'm an MBA student studying international business. This year I will be taking classes all over the world as a part of my program and I can't wait to experience all the new places and people I will meet along the way!

I am originally from CT (in the states) but I now live in Atlanta. I have been so fortunate to have lived in a few different regions of the US and I've experienced many different cultures because of it. I absolutely love to travel, and have been lucky enough to live abroad in France. Got to see some amazing places and met great people along the way.

I am usually shy when I first meet people, but once I open up I am very fun and outgoing person. I enjoy reading books and I really like movies as well. I love anything from old classics to indie films to new hits. I don't have a favorite movie, and my list of great films is too long to list here!

I love meeting new people so send me a message if you're ever in the area and want to meet up for some coffee or see the area!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I unfortunately can't host anyone right now, I am open to meeting up with people for lunch or coffee. I love to meet new people and I hope that CS will open up new doors and lead to new friendships!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have already met some amazing people through couchsurfing! When I lived in France I used to meet up with CS people passing through my little town of Nevers and had a great time with all of them. I've couchsurfed once before and it was a great time! Looking forward to continue meeting great people through the CS experience :)

I'm a big reader and I also love cinema. I'm constantly looking for new and interesting movies and I'm pretty open to all genres so if you have a suggestion send it my way!

I've also recently begun collecting postcards through www.postcrossing.com It's actually pretty awesome - no cost (except paying for the postcards and postage) and you get the chance to exchange mail with people from all over the world!

Volunteered for two weeks on an educational farm in the south of France (WWOOFing)! It was the most incredible experience!
