About Me
If you are interested in couchsurfing with Guillermo and me, just know we use couchsurfing to share our home with people interested in getting to know us, and learning about other cultures and experiences. We may be open to last minute situations, but if so, we'd prefer you're an experienced couchsurfer (so don't be surprised if we say no to low-effort last minute requests).
I'm a Public Health GIS Analyst at USC in Columbia, SC. Generally I'm very easy-going, open-minded and friendly, but I can be opinionated. If I'm comfortable, I can be very goofy and I laugh at anything I find absurd. I have a soon to be husband, Guillermo, and we live together in Columbia. We're both geographers who love to travel, and Guillermo is from Puerto Rico (he's fluent in Spanish).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy the occasional host or surf. I like to meet new people, travel on the cheap, stay with someone familiar with the area, and feel like I'm able to peer into the every day life of someone living in the place I'm visiting. I've done a bit of surfing and hosting, both have been rewarding experiences.
Interests
My hobbies vary from artistic to nerdy. Usually I'm playing some video game, and working on a couple art/DIY projects. I also love cooking and being creative with the ingredients I have.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Literally? I have a couch you can sleep on. Figuratively? Our company, our home, our experiences.
If you want bonus points with me if you're planning to do a couchsurfing request, name a couple of the video games I like playing. Should be easy if you read my profile! :)
