ABOUT ME

I am a bubbly adventurous person who wants to see as much of the world as I possibly can!

I was living in a small city in Australia and teaching there before deciding that it was time to get OUT! I packed up my life into a backpack and took off... It led me to Canada though my next step is Indonesia to live for a few years.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in having a positive outlook on life- Why bother focusing on the negative when you can laugh and have fun instead?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In every way I can! At this stage it is to meet other travelers and couchsurf. Eventually I hope to host but this isn't a possibility yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met travelers to hitch hike with, found rideshares and have been hosted by some fantastic people. Also when moving to Indonesia, CS has been a gateway to make a home here. I have made life long friends through this site.

Interests

I love to read,- literally anything I can get my hands on, go to the theatre, party, socialise and explore the outdoors. I love wandering around feeling lost in cities and meeting as many people as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read everything. I love the Hobbit, The Help, Harry Potter, 1000 years of Solitude, Hunger Games, Anne of Green Gables series, A sword of Ice and Fire series- Litterally everything I can get my hands on. I don't listen to much music but when I do i prefer alternative.

Movies have had a big impact on my life. I love to get to know a character and feel connected with them- THis is why I love acting so much. I like all sorts of movies from old ones to modern.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travlling the Mekong river on a speedboat was pretty unforgettable.

Teach, Learn, Share

Although I don't have any useful knowledge of different languages, sceience or inventions, I do have some relatively useless specialty skills.

I can direct a wicked stage show or any performance, educate about all things dramatic and I have some awesome knowledge of dealing with teenagers. I don't think these are useful to many people but hey, if they are feel free to ask!

I am currently trying to learn Bahasa Indonesia. It would be great if you can help me there!
