ABOUT ME
I love Santa Barbara- there is soo much to do here!
Hiking, biking, swimming, hot springs, gardening, rock climbing, cooking, surfing, kayaking, shopping, art, dancing, crafting, you name it.

Although I have a stable home, job, life... I sometimes want to just get away! Hosting surfers helps alleviate the monotony of day to day life and I get to live vicariously for a day or two. It's inspiring to meet travelers and hear their stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have big travel goals, and couch surfing helps!
I want to help other frugal travelers get where they are going, and to show them the beauty of Santa Barbara while they are here. I also selfishly think that my karma will be reciprocated when I travel!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted dozens of people in Santa Barbara, many are still friends today. When Alice came to stay we had so much fun that she came back again months later to stay. Phillip and Morgan stayed with us on their bike tour down the West coast, then on their way back up we ended up driving with them all the way up to Washington, camping, going to hot springs, and met their families. So fun.

Interests

My husband and dog, anything and everything outdoors and active, music, movies, traveling, meeting new people! My husband Zach is super into all things techy.
