Overview
About Me
i'm a language nerd, kind of a jock, and definitely a big-city person. i love getting to know the city i'm in by taking long walks and meeting people who live there
i'm fully vaccinated and am very covid-conscious
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
i like to meet new people wherever i go! i'm also a big believer in traveling as respectfully as i can and not contributing to the touristification/gentrification that result from services like airbnb
i fell in love with philly when i came to visit friends there this summer. i'm now considering moving there sometime soon and am coming back to spend some more time and see how i like it. i work remotely, so it's fairly easy for me to do this while getting a bit better sense of what day-to-day life is like there
Interests
i love learning about the history of cities, how people experience the cities they live in, and the different ways people are resisting gentrification and the privatization of public space in their cities. outside of work i train at a boxing gym, am involved in a local jail support project, and go on as many bike rides as possible
