About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life while experiencing as many new things and people as possible.
ABOUT ME
I'm just finished my undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota. I studied Communications. In college I spent 3 years working at my college radio station where I hosted a show about local (Minneapolis) music. Music is my favorite thing in the world and I love going to shows as often as possible. I am now preparing for my next adventure; I'll be moving to Prague in March to take a TEFL certification course and hopefully get a job as an English teacher. I am planning to travel around Europe as much as I can while I'm there. I love trying new things and meeting new people with their own unique stories and experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
"So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun." -Christopher McCandless

Music, Movies, and Books
I can talk about music for hours. I can find something I like in just about every genre but tend to gravitate towards electronic, psychedlic, dream pop/shoegaze, or garage rock. Ask me what I'm listening to these days!
I love reading: Nabokov, Kafka, Fitzgerald, Murakami, Brautigan, Miranda July, Joan Didion, Eileen Myles.
I love documentaries and Coen Brothers films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Surfing in Hawaii. Amazing experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love cooking vegetarian food and will share some of my favorite recipes! I will also introduce you to tons and tons of cool new bands and give you personalized mixtapes!
There are so many things I want to learn: reiki, taxidermy, snowboarding, sewing. I am always up for learning new things, so if you have some unique talent or interest (even if its something small), chances are I'd love to learn it or learn about it.
