About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel and explore on a local level. I live in the most visited ski town in North America, so I understand what it’s like to host people from all of the world. Meeting new people and showing them the in’s and out’s of my town and all the little secrets makes my heart happy. :)
Exploring the main attractions of what each town has to offer is nice and all but I really want to find out what makes that city pulse and understand the culture on a more in depth level.
ABOUT ME
I am an optimist... Full of life and smiles 100% of the time :) I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. I am very easy going and I enjoy everything from grabbing some drinks to going on hikes! Anything involving water and I’m in!
PHILOSOPHY
Fueled by barley and hops, built for speed and comfort. And I don't have a rear view mirror because I never look back!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I discovered Couchsurfing in February of 2013. It is an amazing community of people of all types! My best friend Jessica and I made a 5 week road trip, heading west from Texas, then going North to Seattle. From there we made our way to Yellowstone National Park where she and I worked and lived for the summer of 2013. We were able to host surfers while we were there, and we surfed the entire road trip there. This experience opened up my heart and mind to couch surfers all over the country.
Since then I have continued to live a seasonal lifestyle, traveling worldwide in my free time in addition to enjoying the beautiful life my town has to offer me.
Interests
Anything outdoors. Snowboarding, hiking, camping, anything in the water. I’m an advanced scuba diver as of May 2018, and all I can think about is where my next dive will be.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This year I challenged myself to fly around the world to Southeast Asia and travel with only a day pack, and I must say it was very freeing and rewarding to travel so light! I spent two weeks island hopping in the Philippines. Not once did I think I needed anything else, in fact I even purposely lost a couple unnecessary items along the way. I continue to grow by pushing my limits, minimalizing, and realizing what I need to live vs items I want.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a "Yes" person, I can teach you how easy it is to say "yes" and get rid of all those excuses that weigh you down :)
I just picked up mountain biking! Not as easy as I thought but I love a good challenge!!
I will share anything and everything with you! Just ask. I also have a brain full of stories and knowledge to share :) :)
