Overview
About Me
I'm currently a graduate student. My degrees in history and classics from the University of Alberta. As of last year, I've been accepted into UBC and am working towards an MA in journalism.
I love to walk. I'll walk anywhere and everywhere. I'm interested in biking and most outdoor activities, I love reading, writing, and playing video games.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to experience parts of the world that aren't just about being a tourist.
Interests
History, obviously. I love traveling and learning about other peoples cultures. I'm a fan of progressive politics, philosophy and socialism but I don't spend much time discussing them unless someone's interested.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Lolita, Tropic of Cancer, The Portrait of Dorian Grey, anything by Ian McEwan, A Clockwork Orange and generally classical literature of all sorts.
Television: (I watch a whole lot more of this over movies). Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, Penny Dreadful, The Knick, Peaky Blinders. There's way too many to list.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm really not that amazing. My greatest accomplishment is not injuring myself on a daily basis. I'm extremely clumsy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm funny, somewhat smart and generally fun. I'll give you decent conversation and first rate entertainment.
