About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.

PHILOSOPHY

Take NOTHING for granted, and leave no stone unturned. Experiences are far more important than material things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Very recently got into Couchsurfing... stayed with some great hosts in London and Tel Aviv, and just want to pay it forward. I attended a meeting while in London and had a blast, and hope to get into the New York scene.

Interests

Traveling, dancing, picnics in the park, trying new restaurants, exploring new neighborhoods, attending as many free event as possible, karaoke

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies I would save from a burning building:
The Goonies, The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Life is Beautiful, Amelie, Clueless, The Green Mile, Paper Moon, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Saving Private Ryan

Ten recently played songs from iTunes:
1. "Help, I'm Alive" - Metric
2. "We Belong" - Pat Benatar
3. "Dear Prudence" - The Beatles
4. "Freeze" - T-Pain
5. "Silvia" - Miike Snow
6. "Free Bird" - Lynard Skynard
7. "Open Your Eyes" - Snow Patrol
8. "Airplanes" - B.O.B.
9. "Sleepyhead" - Passion Pit
10. "Oh Sheila" - Ready for the World
So basically, I have random taste in music. I'm especially fond of pop, electronic, and 80's music.

As far as reading, I don't have much time to sit down and enjoy a good book these days. However, I love funny memoirs ("Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea"), fiction ("A Thousand Splendid Suns"), and exposés ("Toy Monster").

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the more recent amazing things I have experienced is the Dead Sea in Israel. To be at the lowest point on Earth and floating in such buoyant water... just unreal. And of course, my friend and I slathered ourselves in mud and took the requisite "Hey look! I'm reading the news and floating effortlessly!" photo. :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, France, Israel, United Kingdom
