About Me
Hi, I'm a 25 year old American teaching English in Orléans, France. I love traveling, art, poetry, literature, chess, board games, and learning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While traveling in 2013, I had several great experiences staying with and hosting other travelers. As a result, I met some really amazing people from across the world, and I think Couchsurfing is just a great idea.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love all kinds of music, too many artists to list. One thing I really enjoy sharing with different travelers is music--what others love to listen to fascinates me.
I also love French New Wave film, and really any kind of movie. I'm a big fan of dystopian-type movies and "foreign" (aka not American) film.
A few authors I love are George Saunders, Ray Bradbury, Guy de Maupassant, Charles Baudelaire, and Vladimir Nabokov--I LOVE Russian literature and French poetry.
Teach, Learn, Share
I currently teach English, and I've tutored French as well. I'll gladly help you practice either language! As for learning, I'm open to whatever you have to offer. With respect to sharing, let's share some amazing experiences together!
