Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I first moved to Nantes, one of the first things I did was go to a CS event. Everyone was so welcoming and at my 2nd event I met one of my now best friends. The past year I was too busy to get out much at all, but hope to welcome new visitors to Nantes soon!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The Nantes group has some great meet-ups!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've ever done was participating in the Tibetans in Exile Today project with the University of Arkansas. Hearing first hand the stories of Tibetans - from HH the Karmapa to the son of herders who was born as his mother fled over the Himilayas - who are trying to preserve their culture in exile was an experience I simply can not put words to.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to help anyone learning English and would love to learn cooking from various places. I can teach you how to make good ol' southern biscuits and gravy (if you are British, don't worry... this isn't what you might be picturing!). I want to learn languages as well.
