Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I figured I'd do this to help people when traveling - I have for a long time lived by the philosophy that you don't have to be rich to travel - you just have to want to learn about other cultures - couch surfing does just that!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only hosted a few times....I have wanted to surf more but I always make my plans too last minute!

Interests

I like cooking, hiking and of course drinking coffee. I sew and knit. I used to scrapbook but then I just got behind on it so I quit and now just take lots of pictures during travels.

After working random jobs starting at the JCC, Mcdonalds, Starbucks, Suffient grounds and Residence Life at UT, I joined the Peace Corps '06-'09. Then I went to Grad school in Oman. I've taught in English in Macedonia, China, Russia, and Finland I love traveling and spending time with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned another language.
I walked around Cairo by myself.
I've stood up for what I believe.
I've moved to yet another country in which I do not speak the language.
