Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hi hi! I'm still relatively new to the couch surfing community despite having this account a while.
Have surfed a bit and hosted a lot (though not yet through this site, just friends of friends who happened to need a place)
I'm considerate to the energy in your home. Whether this resonates or not, my intention is always to bring love and light into your life, even if it's only for a day.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Once I couch surfed in Sioux Falls, it was a good experience. And once in North Carolina with the awesome Veasey. We have had many people come stay a night on our futon over the years though this was before we even heard of couch surfing, and it's always great to meet new people, especially fellow travelers. I like being able to help people out by giving them a safe place to stay a night or two when they're on a budget. I've also lived in hostel-type situations and I've done some HelpX stuff.
Interests
Good food.
Good music.
Good scenery.
And a damn good laugh. I love improv. Do you do improv? Can we meet? :)
Dancing, laughing, long walks on the beach…
I'm spiritual, but I try to just live it and not be an annoying idiot about it.
I like steak. And green juice. Let's make smoothies! Here's my favorite: kale, spinach, lemon, frozen pineapple, ginger, apple and beets.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music. Love love love. Almost anything, with a few exceptions - not mad about that goan house trance stuff with no melody and just bum-bum-bum… you know the stuff… I have a hard time with death metal too.
Mostly listen to old and new folk, rock, bluegrass, classical, some jazz though not the stuff that drives me insane, chill out, hipster pop, (it's a thing! ask spotify!) dance, dub step, oh I love musicals. Love.
Books - oh, there's that list we all did a while back on Facebook - 15 books that have stayed with you - here:
1. The Endless Steppe - Esther Hautzig
2. Crime & Punishment - Fyodor Dostoevsky
3. The Devil & Margharita - Mikhail Bulgakov
4. The Wisdom of Florence Scovel Shin - Florence Scovel Shin

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed Rax Alpen (in the Austrian Alps) - still pretty proud of that because it included a couple of moments where I thought I was going to die, and I didn't.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help you learn to listen to your own intuition and trust yourself.
So if you have Big Life Questions, let's talk.
Happy to help clean etc.
I smoke sometimes but only cigarettes and only outside.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Terrible, terrible jokes. And helpful hints on de-cluttering. Random information that may or may not be useful in your life.
