ABOUT ME
I like adventures, and I try to make as much of them as I can.
An adventure for me could be just about anything from traveling far away to other parts of the world, or checking out a new spot in my own neighbourhood, or visiting the same ol' place i have been at accopanied with new eyes, or learning to master a skill i havent tried before, to study a interesting subject or trying to get better of something i know i could do better.
I'm a sweden, that means that I might not be the most talkative person that you will ever meet. But im not shy and do I do speak my mind. Some days more then others :)
I am a realy big fan of the out doors, espacially the mountains.
I am a climber at heart.
Its hard to describe yourself, but I will try to add more at a point of insperation and ego boosting :)
PHILOSOPHY
Calm down, breath, think, stop thinking, DO IT! Relax.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Whenever I travel I check couchsurfing for meetings and events that would fit. I have been surfing when possible and always had a great time.
When I lived in Madrid one of my room mates hosted surfers from time to time in our apartment.
I hope to be able to pay back and host some here in Sweden now that im back :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2010 I moved to Madrid for my studies and decided that i would like to travel a bit around Spain the month before the semester started. A friend told me about CS and I thought it would be a cool way to see Spain and try to know the culture a little better by meeting and living with CS:ers.
My first surf was in Valencia the day before "La Tomatina" at an american couple that hosted 7 other CSer that same night! Everyone with the grand plan of visiting the Tomato Festival. I havent heard of it before but got excited to go there after being told what was going on.
I had a great time, learned alot of how cultures can clash and got some unforgetible memories.
I surfed some other cities in Spain and met some fantastic Spanish persons.
Then I finally arrived to Madrid. I realized that I had no place to stay yet and that the semester would start in just a couple of days. And to make matters worse; I hadnt leart more that a couple of words of spanish. It dawned on me that finding a home would be hard.
Couchsurfing to the rescue! I checked a CS forum and found an "Searching new flat mate"-ad. I called, decided a time to see the flat, saw the flat, met the two girls living there, got my back pack and moved in.
Done deal!
I went to alot of CS events in Madrid and met some fantastic persons and had some amazing times.
Ever since I try to squeeze in some CS time whenever i can!

Music, Movies, and Books
I need music around me to feel comfortable, what kind of music changes with the season.
Still, the 90's hip hop i grew up with will always be with me. I cant think of a moment when some good reggae isnt apropriate.
For me good lyrics are important in the music, and I have lately started to listen more to music in Swedish than ever before.
I usualy go for beats more than guitarr, but have a hard time to handle high pitch and fast beating music.
I like the darker and more earth bound sounds.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Gone the fartest north possible in Europe by taking a caravan to North Kapp in Norway.
Gone the fartest west possible in Europe by visiting Fin Tierra in Spain.
Me and a friend built our one raft in Klarälven here in Sweden, and took a five day rafting trip down the river, sleeping on the deck.
