About Me

ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Rada, I'm an artist and I work as a translator. I love hanging out, going to parties, laughing at stupid things and being generally mischievous. I'm a bit shy unless I'm on the dancefloor where I magically turn into a tornado. Fact. I read a lot. I love dogs and cats. I love food but sadly, I'm not very skilled at cooking (unless by cooking, you mean overcooking things).
I have traveled through most of Europe, the USA, Russia, some Northern African countries and am now going to explore Asia.

PHILOSOPHY

I have neither fear nor money.

Music, Movies, and Books

The music I make is some electronic sub-sub-sub genre. The writers I like include Cortazar, Rushdie, Salinger, Borges, Melville, Zizek, Murakami, W.G. Sebald.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My dog can talk on the phone and that will never cease to amaze me. O world of wonders.
No seriously. One of the coolest things I've done was to attend the Kumbh Mela in Allahabad in 2012. The Kumbh Mela is the largest gathering on the planet with over 172 mio visitors in 8 weeks. I was breathtaking and dusty. I also once brokein into a film studio in Morocco and learned a valuable lesson: whatever object you see in a movie is made out of wood, unless it's meant to look like wood, in which case it's made out of styrofoam.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some easy arpeggios on the piano, how to distinguish natural from synthetic fibres (basically: set them on fire), how to fold an origami box, how to stretch so that your kicks will hit higher, how to make a miniature firework and how to control your breath during an anxiety attack. I can also teach you a poem in each language that I speak.
I'm always interested in learning things about different cultures and habits and telling you aboaut the ones I have encountered so far.
