About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the most of it, whatever "it" may be...

ABOUT ME

That's the kind of thing I used to hate when I was a kid.
I'm 23, I'm Italian (and that's not the easyest thing to admit righ now) and I won't go as far as saying I'm ashamed of it, but sometimes it's annoying. That's probably one of the main reasons that compels me to travel as much as I can. I get sick when I'm home too long (does that count as homesickness?)
I studied Foreign Languages and Literatures (English and Spanish) in Milan and I'm currently studying Literary Translation from English into Italian.

PHILOSOPHY

Go for it! And try not to give yourself such a hard time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I talk about CouchSurfing everytime I get the chance to. I even made it the topic of a free presentation at Uni.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Enthusiast Beginner!

I've couchsurfed my way around UK in May and it was AMAZING! I really enjoyed it and I'm dying to get some more.

Interests

Anything for a short period. Concistency has never been my cup of tea.
I play bass guitar and acustic guitar but still have to figure out if I'm any good at at least one of them.
One of the few Italians NOT interested in football (they're trying to take away our citizenship)
Hugely interested in meeting people, getting to know them, learning stuff, in a word, SHARING.

Music, Movies, and Books

I already know I'll leave out a lot of stuff. That's just what comes to mind right now. (Why is that that when you try to list things you like or you'd recommend you can't think of any?!)

Play It Again Sam, The Blues Brothers, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, GranTorino, Big Fish, Rear Window, The Departed, Shutter Island, Inside Man. Snatch..

Mainly rock. From Led Zeppelin to Deep Purple, to The Doors, to Cream, to The Beatles, to Creedence Clearwater Revival, to Lynyrd Skynyrd to The White Stripes, to The Black Keys, to Clash, to Arctic Monkeys, to The Strokes, to Foo Fighters..

Choke, The catcher in rye, The commitments, High fidelity, What a Carve up,The brotherhood of the grape, The curious incident of the dog in the night-time

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wouldn't know..

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook. Nothing difficult, but, being Italian I can fix an edible meal with whatever I find when I open the fridge, and more important I ENJOY cooking..
The specials include TexMex Beans, Tortilla Espanola con Patatas, Spaghetti and Pasta in general with basically anything :)
I can teach the basis of guitar and bass(I successfully taught Egle to play knockin on heaven's door :))
I bought a harmonica about a year ago, but i never got round to learning how to play it properly (and by that i mean do something more than blowing in it in the most annoying way ever). I'd love someone to teach me...
