About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see how the rest of the world lives

ABOUT ME

I consider myself to be a fun-loving easy going guy who enjoyes live experiences. The more the better. I have done some intersting things such as sky diving in Alaska and paragliding in the German Alps. I REALLY enjoy beer in all of it's forms. Friends say I have "Balls" for having the courage to do the things I have done. I am not afraid to try anything once.

PHILOSOPHY

Adapt. Improvise. Overcome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During the winter season I am working constanly and live at the lodge. No real couch available. During the summer I hike and camp a lot. I have an extra tent, sleeping bags, and all the ammenities camping has to offer. I know it's not the best, but I will show you how we live during an Alaskan summer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a HUGE Alfred Hitchcock fan! My collection now numbers over 50. I enjoy suspense, spy movies, thrillers, that sort of thing.
Music. I am an 80's child. AC/DC is the best rock n roll band of all time. Just ask me, I'll tell you.
Books. Along the same line as movies. Dan Brown is my favorite, but I also enjoy humor such as Christopher Moore. I also enjoy "How To" books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Front row seat for the "Last Great Race" ie the Iditerod. And I have a great view of the largest mountain in North America (Mt. McKinley) right out my window.

Teach, Learn, Share

People refer to me as a jack of all trades. I add "master of none" I have worn a lot of hats in my time from bartender to mechanic and many things in between. I am great at finding that out of the way place that most people don't know about. My experiences have taught me many things and I enjoy teaching those to others.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In
