Non, je ne regrette rien

I'm not afraid of uncomfortable places and new surprising challenges. I don't like to contemplate what I could in past do better or why something happened.

Einmal ist keinmal.

If we only have one life to live, we might as well not have lived at all. Accordingly I'm very understanding person and I always try to put myself in the other guy's shoes. I think taking offense on somebody is an expression of weakness and a waste of time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm 21 years old and I feel that I haven't done anything crazy and unforgettable yet! I don't want to live the same life with a lot of regrets and "shoulda, woulda, coulda" dillemas. Couchsurfing gives me an opportunity to meet new people with different/less or more similar lifystyles and beliefs, visit a lot of wonderful places during such a short free time and with budget constraints I have.

Interests

Since I was 16 I'm fascinated by Polish-Jewish Relations and history of Polish Jews. I'm also interested in architecture, town planning, international relations, history and culture of ethnic and religious minority groups, history of art, painting and far more.
I like painting with watercolors, soft and oil pastels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year my friend called me at 1 a.m. and offered to spend a couple of days at the Woodstock Festival in Kostrzyn, about 400 kilometres away from my home. Four hours later I was in the train, heading for adventure!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you freehand drawing, watercolors/pastels painting, Polish language, Polish and Yiddish songs.

I'd like to improve my German and learn some language using non-Latin writing system: Hebrew, Arabic or Ukrainian.
