About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore, explore, explore!

ABOUT ME

I'm an open minded guy with a positive attitude and an addiction to coffee. I teach International Relations and work as academic project coordinator at a university in Warsaw, I can also sometimes (*cough*cough*) be caught working on my PhD about the Arab Spring.

I enjoy spending time with my friends, cook for them and just hang out.

P.S. I'm gay and open about it, in case that's important to any of you.

PHILOSOPHY

Explore the world and its people, make your life worthwhile.

Interests

Travelling, exploring, getting to know people.

If I can't travel I like to read about places and people and their histories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Tiziano Terzani, Ryszard Kapuscinski, Agnieszka Holland, Nadine Labaki, Ferzan Ozpetek, Pedro Almodovar, Planet Funk, Groove Armada, Subsonica, Mary's Dream the list goes on and on and on...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

No skydiving experiences but I've seen the sunrise over the Atlas Mountains and in the Wadi Rum, drank Prosecco in an empty Piazza del Panteone in Rome in the middle of the night, went out clubbing to a Korean Pop Party in Nanjing, danced in the flooded Piazza San Marco, got lost in the souq in Tunis... the list goes on, and will hopefully expand...

Teach, Learn, Share

We all wear cultural- glasses and see the world through our own cultural perspective. If you put it at the center of your cognition and exploration, you're being ethnocentric. The trick it to realise that and always remember that your own system of values is just one of many.

Travelling and meeting new people always reminds me of that and this is what I am grateful for.
